Accordion Book of Tags and Techniques
Date: Sat 4/22 Time: 2:30-5:30 Room: Violin B
Ticket Cost: $45
Over the last 36 years Linda has taught classes on both techniques and projects and for this class, she's combined both. She's always loved experimenting with products, discovering results not necessarily planned by the manufacturer. Before investing in products of your own, come play with hers instead, though be warned, you're going to love them all. She's packing inks & paints, masks & stencils, her own line of rubber stamps and a few surprises, creating unique backgrounds before you choose from over 500 of her favorite stamps to decorate each tag in black permanent ink. Then assemble your favorites onto the pages of your accordion fold book.

Specimen Box Collage
Date: Sun 4/23 Time: 9:00-12:00 Room: Violin B
Ticket Cost: $45
Shortly after attending Ranger University and designing her own line of rubber stamps, Linda developed a class for creating a variety of backgrounds. But instead of making pages for a book or the background for a collage, she decided to use glass-topped specimen boxes that measure 8x12x3/4" to showcase them in a collage of their own. Learn several techniques using a variety of products on unusual substrates such as antique ledger pages, time cards, vintage sheet music, foreign text and more before selecting your favorites. This is harder than you think! You'll move them around, trying different color combinations turned in different directions. Expect lots of laughter and advice-seeking from your classmates at this stage. Now add rubber stamps to the mix, creating a few design elements to elevate and bring them to the forefront, saving all the extras for future projects. It's one of those classes where Linda gets a chance to share more tips and techniques and you leave with a wealth of information and extra backgrounds in addition to your masterpiece.
